What is included in the price?

Airport transfer, hotels, permits, national park tickets, a local guide, and a support van with a mechanic and luggage transfer.

Can I ride in either direction?

Yes. Most routes run north to south and south to north, so you can land in one city and fly home from another.

How big are the groups?

Groups have 4 to 10 riders.

Which bike is right for me?

The NX500 and CB500X suit beginners and riders moving up from a scooter, the Transalp 750, CRF300L and Versys 650 suit intermediate riders, and the Africa Twin and BMW GS models suit advanced and expert riders. See the fleet page.

What licence do I need?

Placeholder policy — confirm and replace with your real requirement. In general, a valid motorcycle licence from your home country plus an International Driving Permit (1968 convention) covering motorcycles is required. Vietnamese law treats bikes over 175cc as requiring an A2 category licence, so most tour bikes fall under this rule — message us with your licence type before booking and we will confirm whether it is accepted.

Is insurance included?

Placeholder policy — confirm and replace with your real coverage. Basic third-party liability cover for the bike is included in the tour price. We strongly recommend riders arrange their own travel and medical insurance that explicitly covers motorcycling above 175cc. A security deposit, refunded at the end of the tour, is required for each bike.

What happens if I drop the bike or it breaks down?

Placeholder policy — confirm and replace with your real terms. Our support van carries a mechanic and spare parts for common repairs. Minor wear is covered; damage from rider error is assessed against the deposit at the end of the tour.

How do I pay?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, PayPal and bank transfer. A deposit secures your booking, with the balance due before the tour starts.

How fast will you reply?

We send a custom itinerary within 24 hours of your request.

How much does a tour cost?

Short 5-day routes start from around $1,200 per person; the longest 10-day routes from around $2,300–$2,400. See each tour page for an exact price.

What’s the difference between the north, central and south routes?

North routes (Ha Giang, Sapa) are the most mountainous and technical. Central routes (Hai Van Pass, Phong Nha, the Ho Chi Minh Road) are the classic coast-to-cave scenery most riders picture first. South routes (Mekong Delta, Da Lat) are gentler, through rivers and highland coffee country.

When is the best time to ride?

October to April is generally most reliable: the north is cool and dry, the south is in dry season, and central Vietnam can see heavier rain October–December. March–April is a good middle ground. See the Tours page for more.
